Felicity's Diary

1st March 2006

Hi everyone. Sorry it’s taken me so long to getting around to doing another diary entry, but I have been really busy doing promo
for the album. The good news is that we have been asked to play at the East Coast Blues & Roots Festival in Byron Bay, held
over the Easter weekend. Pretty excited about that!! I always look forward to going to that festival, it’s such an inspirational day!
We've also been gigging constantly around the North Coast and SE Qld and selling heaps of CDs

Julz has now gone back to Dubai, Joe is off to Brazil next week and Rohan is persuing his own recording career. Huge thanks go
out to Julz, Joe and Rohan for their amazing playing and making 'Going with the flow' the album it is.

We now have a new line-up in the band.  Nick Ohlson is now playing bass, Jesse Carroll is on drums, and our old friend Mick
Kempshall has stepped in on lead guitar. We've been jamming and gigging heaps and it's all coming together really nicely

Other good news is we've been getting airplay on Triple J, ABC Radio and Community Radio across Australia.... Stoked!!

I've bought a new surfboard so I’ve been getting plenty of fun barrels out at The Pass in Byron BayLennox beachy has been
loads of fun too, just out in front of the pub. We are coming into prime surf season now so I'm amped to get out there as much
as possible.

Each year I get a lot of enjoyment out of watching the whales pass by so I’ve decided to get behind Sea Shepherd Conservation
Society in their efforts to stop the whaling in the Southern Ocean. We are donating money from every CD sale to the cause and
raising awareness of the organisation through the media. Please check out their website. (there's a link on our home page)

The girls and I got a cover shot on a North Coast lifestyle magazine called Life Weekly which is pretty cool as everyone will get it
in their letterbox tomorrow. Haha, 'North Coast’s coolest mum' they've called me... reckon I’ll cop some flak for that! I’ve also
been doing some motivational speaking. It’s a really nice feeling when you inspire and motivate others.

Seems we have a big year ahead of us. The Love Bus is fast becoming more well known and all we ever get is positive feedback.

You can help us by requesting our song “To Be” on triple J and telling all your friends and family about the album.

Cheers and keep smiling Felicity xx

30th November 2005

Wow, this past month has been nuts!

Everything seems to be just falling into place since we won the ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘New Recording Talent’ awards at the
North Coast Entertainment Industry Awards (The Dolphins). We now have a publicist onboard The Love Bus. Her name is Willow
and she is doing wonderful things for us.

We had a ball last weekend at Joyfest. What a good vibe that festival was! Ken Jacobs and Fi Sproule booked such an interesting
combo of musicians, the food stalls were great, and we had a great jam in the chai tent on Saturday morning as the sun rose in the sky.
We then rocked on over to The Globe Pro Surf Comp at Burleigh point to play on an outdoor stage looking over the magnificent
ocean. We played, we drank, we soaked up the sun and it will be a day to be remembered.

Amongst thunder and lightening, hail and rain, we locally launched “Going with the flow” at The Rails in Byron Bay on Sunday
and had an absolutely grand time. A crowd of about 200 soaked individuals braved the storm to wade in the fun tunes and happy
vibes of The Love Bus. We’re now looking forward to the launch on the Gold Coast next week at The Chophouse when we will
be joined by Project Winterhaven who are also launching their album. It’s going to be a fun night.

I’ve just written a new reggae tune named ‘music makes you feel so fine’

Anyway’s the suns out and the surf is beckoning,
Love and happiness to you all.

15th October 2005

Hey there,

Wow… we just finished toasting champers to our album being chosen in the top three finalists for “Album of the Year”
in the NCEIA Dolphin Awards... Absolutely unreal! It’s nice to be recognised for your art. The awards ceremony is
happening at the Beach Hotel, Byron Bay on Tuesday 8th October... wish us luck!!

Our album will be in my hands within two weeks… yesssssss, and the launch of  “Going with the flow” will be on
Sunday 27th November at “The Rails” in Byron.

I’m really looking forward to all the gigs coming up. I’ve been writing heaps of new songs and there’s been so much
positive feedback happening. Thank-you to everyone who have been hopping on TheLoveBus ride….

The frangipanis in the front yard are starting to bloom and summer is just around the corner. Can’t wait to get those
boardies on and hit the surf in warm water. Wishing you all happy times… we call it hipey tamps!
Love Felicity xx

September 27th 2005

Well all things are fine and dandy!!! Got plenty of good feedback on the album! Gigs are all mounting up for this summer.
We’re stoked to be playing Joyfest on the Gold Coast, 18th-20th Nov. It’ll be a real crazy time considering its our electric
guitarist, Julz Parker’s birthday that weekend as well.. aaaaaahhhh  good times ahead!

I have been doing lots of self promo work, improving the website, posters, etc…
I have also been meeting lots of interesting characters out  bush… had my tarot cards read and the future has been mapped!
I’ll leave it a secret for you guys though… The element of surprise is always a good thing.

The Point has been sending me its fair share of nice waves. The water is warming up and there have been whales galore,
swimming almost in the actual surf-break! Of course there have been plenty of dolphins winking at me too!

Been composing lots of songs, about peace, love & all the good things in life… We should have a few more ‘Great Northern’
(Byron Bay) gigs coming up soon. We’re also looking forward to our local ‘Rails’ gig (also in Byron) on 27th November.

Sadly we are not going to be playing at the Woodford festival… Julz (guitarist) has been offered a
New Years Eve gig at the Pyramids in Egypt!!!

Remember that life is full of highs and lows… you just gotta keep believing if you want to reach your goals.
Lows are there just to make the highs better!!

So… keep that positivity flowing and come and say hi at our next gig!!!
See ya there!!

August  15th 2005

Well, talk about an awesome journey! Just got back from getting the album mastered at 301 Studios with Don Bartley.
That place has a lot of cool history. The bathroom wall paper was like stepping back into the floral Sixtys...All peeling off the walls!!
Don did a great job, adding his personal touch with some waves he recorded down at Coogee beach at 5am on a Summery morning.
We used it to start the album off, with 'Oceanheart' being the first song. We almost left Oceanheart off the album after it was first
recorded and in the end it was put first…hahaha, funny how things turn out.
Well, with the help of a lot of talented people, I have finally achieved my dream. So thank you to all those involved.!!

Once the graphics are done, we’ll have it pressed and voila... the album will be available for purchase from our site and at our gigs.
Looks like we might be playing the Woodford Festival, so if you have no plans in late Dec/Jan, come along and set up tent with
TheLoveBus crew and party!! It starts 27th Dec. and goes for 5 days. We’ll be on tour after that yippeeee...

The Love Bus website has now been updated and there are samples from the new album “Going with the flow”, so please have a listen.
I am in the process of writing some new songs, which is exciting. Keep in touch and I’ll update this diary as much as I can.

Love  yas
